A graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon, Cosgrove fought in the Vietnam War, receiving the Military Cross in 1971. Malcolm Norman Meninga AM is an Australian professional rugby league coach and a former professional rugby league footballer. Meninga is widely regarded as one of the finest players in the game’s history. He enjoyed a long career in both Australia and England, playing mainly as a goal-kicking centre. Geoffrey Francis Lawson, OAM (born 7 December 1957)[1] is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer and the former coach of the Pakistan cricket team. Nicknamed “Henry” after the Australian poet, Lawson was a fast bowler for New South Wales (NSW) and Australia. He first played for NSW in 1977–78, made his international debut in 1980–81. Lawson made three tours of England, including the 1989 Ashes-winning tour. John Edwin Bertrand AO (born 20 December 1946) is a yachtsman from Australia, who skippered Australia II to victory in the 1983 America’s Cup, ending 132 years of American supremacy, and the only time Australia has won. Bertrand won the bronze medal in the Finn competition at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. In 2010 and 2016, he won the world Etchells class sailing championships. He is a life member of both the Royal Brighton Yacht Club in Melbourne, and the Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club. We are unsure who signed the 5th signature on the jersey. All signatures are original. This item was purchased at a charity auction held in Canberra. Over the years, we supported many charities by attending fund raisers and purchasing memorabilia.
